C-Mount CameraThe lens can be changed out in a C-mount camera, which is its versatility. C-mount camera lenses are available from 4mm - 50mm. A 4mm lens lets you see out to about 35 feet. There are two types of cmount cameras and they differ in the flange-back distance. Flange-back distance is measured from the focal plane of the lens back to the flange of the lens. C-mount lenses have a flangeback of 17.5mm while CS-mount lenses have a flange-back distance of 12.5mm. |
